An Gearasden Blended Scotch Whisky Miniature

We were approached by the Ben Nevis Race Association early 2022, mainly due to Colin’s long association dating back to 1983, asking for help in looking for someone to provide Whisky miniatures for the race event being held 3^rd September 2022. As this was proving difficult for both the race association and us, we decided to take the bold step of having our own Blended Scotch Whisky produced and using this to support the race.

An Gearasden means Fort William in Gaelic.

As this was proving difficult for both the race association and us, we decided to take the bold step of having our own Blended Scotch Whisky produced and using this to support the race.

We had previously registered the trademark “An Gearasdan” and we had discussed using this for a blended whisky with some rough ideas for labelling etc. Thus, it was decided to progress with the Blended Scotch Whisky named An Gearasdan, Gaelic for Fort William.

ROSLIN DISTILLERS

In 2019, my father Alex W. (Colin) Ross, was to retire from Ben Nevis Distillery after 30 years as Managing Director and giving an incredible 56 years service to the Whisky Industry.

At 72 years old, he still had more to offer the industry and so Roslin Distillers was conceived. Releasing our first ever bottling in May 2021.

Allt A’Mhullin 30-year-old (One of One)

Within our current bottlings we have an extremely rare bottle, number one of one, as the only one in existence. It is very much a one of a kind, with only the cask number and age as well as the spirit being identified on the original label. To further enhance this very rare bottling, a bespoke wooden case in the shape of a cask was built to house the bottle. We hope to either Raffle or Auction the bottle in the near future, watch this space for further details.
